It is 1899. Three girls from a small Australian town discuss the coming century and make predictions about what it will bring.

They agree to meet in 1920, 1950 and 1970 to see which of their predictions have come to pass.

'Predictions' follows Edith, Wilma and Rose, as their lives are buffeted and shaped by the momentous events of the twentieth century. Some of their predictions will be realised, but which ones?
